Forgive me, I’m trying to bring a little light humor to a very sore subject.  I, like many others I know, find the term “spontaneous abortion” not only offensive but oddly incorrect.  It feels as like my body has gone up in flames, or simply decided to abort for no apparent reason.  Those of us who have been there no there are few comforting words, support systems or thoughts - you just have to go through it.  I’d like to bring attention to the topic, and be sure women know they are not alone.  The more I talk about it, the more alarmed I am by the sheer number of women around me who have had the same experience.  And by no means is it a pleasant one, but hopefully most of us learn what might have gone wrong in order to have a successful pregnancy in the future.  So the message is, hang in there ladies, I have faith there is plenty to look forward to.
